About "The National Budget"
Remember, Donald Trump is the author of “The Art of the Deal.” In September, he struck a deal with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to keep the government open. Another such deal was in the making in November, but Pelosi and Schumer boycotted the meeting in response to Tweets from the President that announced a refusal to include immigration policy in the budget deal. Trump continued as planned with the meeting, with two empty seats next to him with Pelosi and Schumer nametags.
Was the protest successful? Rumors are spreading on Capitol Hill that Democrats are preparing for a Dreamer fight, insisting that protection for Dreamers are included in the budget deal. But the visual persuasion Donald Trump used was argued to be effective, drawing the wind from the sales of such plans. Will Democrats find another chance to influence the budget talks before this year ends?
