About "Mass Shootings"
On Wednesday, Nikolas Cruz exited his Uber with a large bag and walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. From there, he pulled a rifle out of this bag and embarked on a murderous rampage throughout the school, murdering seventeen and wounding several others.
This atrocity is only the latest in a horrific string of mass shootings that have plagued America in the past years. After tragedies like this, reactions are predictable. The Left calls for gun control, while the Right argues that gun control efforts are impractical knee-jerk reactions.

This week’s extemp finals topics delve deep into this hot-button issue, asking the hard questions about gun control and mass shootings. What should we do?
This week’s final round goes deep into the problem of mass shootings. Other topics include the Israeli catastrophes, the success of Black Panther, recent indictments by Robert Mueller, Ethiopia’s drought, Amazon’s new headquarters, social media responsibilities, and more!
